sitting with the world and communing through music is a sacred practice in my life. the conversation is cathartic and on occasion i'll remember to record bits and pieces. i hope to update this collection monthly as a living document, in an effort to archive these meaningful moments + the ones to follow, and for some of these ideas to propagate into more nuanced recordings.

'each rock becomes an altar' is a sentiment borrowed from paramahansa yogananda. having grown up driving distance away from the self-realization fellowships i've found formative days of stillness at the srf lake shrine. this passage from his writing has been with me for a long time and as each song here is in reverence to their recording location, they too are altars.
